  • Where does the money go?

The Spirit Sandyford 5k is organised by Dundrum South Dublin AC, one of the biggest athletics clubs in the country.

The club is famed for producing many of our country’s greatest athletes (for more information click here) while catering for huge numbers of all ages and abilities across South Dublin. All of this in spite of having no track and field facilities of our own!

The club has commenced developing a site adjacent to Marlay Park to build athletics and sports facilities which will serve our local community. Funds raised from the Spirit Sandyford 5k will be directed to developing and maintaining these athletics and sports facilities.
